Raymond R. Theberge, age 91, passed away on September 24, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 20, 1931 in Quebec, Canada, a son of the late Arthur and Candide (Pepin) Theberge. Raymond worked as a polisher/ heat treatment operator for Moore Drop Forge for over 40 years before he retired. Raymond was a former member of the Elks Post 1849 in Chicopee. He was an avid Red Sox fan. Raymond loved playing cards, horseshoes, pool and most of all spending time with his family, especially at their home away from home, the Holly Tree Camp Ground in RI. He is survived by his son Daniel Theberge and his wife Christine of Worthington, MA; 3 daughters, Nancy Smith of Springfield, Suzanne Finn and her husband Tom of Chicopee and Lynn Arbelaez and her husband Michael Vann of Feeding Hills; 1 brother, Jean Paul Theberge of Ottawa, Canada. He also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends at Holly Tree. He is predeceased by 2 sons, Guy and Rocky Theberge; 5 brothers, Marcel, Joseph, Gerard, Maurice and Jean Paul Sr as well as 3 sisters, Rachael Pinard, Jacqueline Remillard and Rolande Theberge. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hospice of Western MA for the special care they had shown to Raymond and his family during their time of need. All services will be private.
