Robert Andrew “Bobby” Gray, Jr., age 56, of Peabody passed away on Wednesday, September 28th. Born in Hampton, Virginia, he was raised and educated in Medford, the son of the late Robert A. and Sandra (Walker) Gray. Bobby worked as a union electrician and was a proud member of Local 103. He loved spending time on Old Orchard Beach, and was always the life of the party. Those who knew Bobby will always remember his laugh.
Bobby was the dear brother of Linda Gray of Groton, and Michael Gray of Peabody and his Fiancée, Kathy Gallagher. He was the loving nephew and God-son of Linda Flammia of Medford, and is survived by his aunts Lorraine Davis, Karen Adams, and their children, all of Springfield. Bobby was the loving cousin of Sandra Hasenbein, Wayne Hasenbein, Jennifer Buchanan, and the late Jeffrey Hasenbein, and the long-time, devoted friend of Colleen Lewis of Peabody and her children, Hayley (and the “Hip Monkey”), Cody and E.J. Lewis. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, October 5th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 4th from 4 through 8 PM in the funeral home.
