Germaine “Geri” Cox passed away on September 29, 2022 at Elliot Hospital, from multiple health issues. She was born in Rochester, NY on November 25, 1943 to Frank and Germaine Schug. She is predeceased by her daughter Rosemarie Cox, and survived by her husband, Thomas Cox, her daughter, Laura Hulen, her son, Michael Cox and four grandchildren, Zack Hulen, Gabriel Hulen, Kierra Hulen and Nathan Hulen.
Raised in Rochester, Geri graduated from St. Agnes Catholic High School and attended Monroe Community College. In 1966, she married Thomas Cox. During the following years, she was a homemaker, raising a family, and managing a home life.
Geri was a very warm and outgoing person who was active in church, school and civic organizations. She always went the extra distance to help other people and make them feel special with a genuine smile, listening with intention, and small acts of kindness. She was recognized over the years for this with several awards, including outstanding employee of the quarter and the “gold” service award for outstanding customer service.
All those who knew Geri will miss her greatly.
Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday October 22, 2022 at 11:00am at St. Mark Church, One South Rd., Londonderry, NH. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Londonderry is assisting the family with arrangements.
