Obituary

Louise M. (Keddy) Despin, 80, of Worcester died Wednesday, September 28th in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband of 36 years, Donald Despin died in 1998. She leaves two daughters, Cheryl Glidden and her husband, Brian, and Tracy Abarca and her husband, Frank all of Worcester; a brother, Lloyd “Tim” Keddy of Worcester; seven grandchildren, April, Michael, Patrick, Stephanie, Kim, Lucas, and Barbara; eight great grandchildren, Gianni, Vinny, Ethan, Nicky, Cameron, Angelee, Mila, and Brayden; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Despin, and a granddaughter, Samantha.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Lloyd and Helen Keddy. Louise worked at Jewish Health Care for 17 years in Laundry Services, retiring in 2007. She enjoyed spending holidays with her family, having a nice meal at one of her favorite restaurants which include Long Island Hot Dog, Barbers Crossing and the Black & White Grille, and shopping. Louise’s favorite pastime was going to the beach, especially Cape Cod and Hampton.
Her graveside service is Monday, October 3rd at 11:30 a.m. in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Sunday, October 2nd from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue.
