Worcester – Marie Claire (Pelletier) Grisson, 90, of Worcester, passed away in the home of her son on Monday, September 26, 2022 after a brief illness.
Ms. Grisson is survived by three sons, Steven Michael Grisson and his wife, Diane of Hudson, NH, Allen James Grisson and his wife, Deborah of Hollis, NH and Daniel R. Grisson and his wife, Margaret of Worcester; a daughter, Catherine M. Lacey and her husband, Rob of Escondido, CA; a sister, Doris DeAdder and a nephew Bob DeAdder of North Andover; 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Danielle, Andrew, Maxwell, Dominique and Rachel, a great granddaughter, Makenah; and a great great grandson, Zander.
Marie Claire was born in Lawrence, MA daughter of the late Charles and Blanche (Nault) Pelletier. Ms. Grisson enjoyed shopping with her girls, camping with her family, playing board games, being at the beach, and most of all spending time with her family. While residing in Lady Lake, FL. she would volunteer preparing meals at the food pantry and was known as a “Pool Shark” at the billiards hall. While living the later years of her life at the Colony Retirement Community, she would often spend time crafting with her friends.
A funeral mass will be held on Oct.5 at 11 AM in Saint George’s Church 38 Brattle St. Worcester. Burial will be held privately at a later date in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Andover.
