Karen Marie Schulz, aged 65, of Medway MA, died August 24, 2022. Daughter of Donald and Connie (Fitzgerald) Schulz, survived by her cat, Sam, her son Bill Housel of Boise, ID, two grandchildren Russell and Alexandra, her sister Lorraine (Schulz) Danehy and her husband Mark, of Mountain View, CA, her brother Kevin Schulz of Belmont, CA, her sister Donna (Schulz) Friend and her husband Jim of Twin Falls, ID, and her brother Chris Schulz and his wife Linda of San Mateo, CA, as well as nine nieces and nephews.
Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, Karen joined the US Army, and remained in Virginia after her term of service was completed. She later relocated to Medway, MA and made it her home. She became a part of the Medway community, volunteering at the Food Pantry and Pet Pantry, as well as working at Market Basket in Bellingham.
Karen will be greatly missed by family and friends on both coasts.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 14th 2022 at 11:00am at Skylawn Cemetery in Half Moon Bay, CA in the Military Columbarium near her parents. A gathering will be held immediately afterward to share fellowship and remember Karen. In lieu of flowers, Karen would ask for donations be made to your local Food Pantry or Pet Pantry/Shelter.
