Thomas H. Holden, Jr., 77, of Pascoag, RI and formerly of Worcester died Tuesday, September 20th at home after a period of declining health. He leaves his wife of 28 years, Deborah A. (Aucoin) Holden; daughter, Danielle E. Holden of Worcester; sister, Judith K. Quinn and her husband, John of Conroy, Texas; three grandchildren, Chrissy, Tyler and Mark; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Paul L. Davis.
He was born in Worcester the son of Thomas H. Holden, Sr. and Marie E. (Breault) Holden and graduated from St. Peter’s High School. Thomas worked at Holy Cross College for 34 years in the maintenance department. In his younger years, Tom enjoyed traveling with Deborah. He was an avid golfer and a lifelong New York Yankees Fan. Tom loved dining out at his favorite restaurants and visiting Foxwoods where he enjoyed playing bingo.
The family would like to thank Hope Health Hospice of Rhode Island for the compassion and care Tom received during his illness as well as the Gonzalez family for all their love and support during this time.
Calling hours are Tuesday, September 27th from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Funeral services and burial will be private.
