Gerald G. Ings, 51, of Attleboro formerly of Mansfield died on Wednesday May 17, 2006 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of the late Darrylyn (Norton) Ings.
Born in Attleboro, MA on November 3, 1954 he was a dear son of the late Frank G. and Rita B. (Lake) Ings.
He was educated in Mansfield schools and had attended the Bristol County Agricultural School in Taunton.
He was a retired Foundry Worker having worked for the Deltran Company in North Attleboro for 9 years prior to retiring. He had formerly worked for Summit Casting in Foxboro for 5 years.
He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and farming. He had a special fondness for animals. He had lived in Attleboro for the past 2 years and was a former 40 year resident of Mansfield.
He is survived by his dear brother and sisters Gordon D. Ings of Mansfield, Shirley J. Wagner of Foxboro, Diane R. Cole of Attleboro and Georgann R. Blais of Mansfield. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date. Burial will be private and visiting hours have been omitted.
