Deanna M. (Deehan) Bermingham 82, a life long resident of Whitman, died in her family home on Monday September 19 with her loving husband of forty-six years, Doug by her side.
Born and raised in Whitman, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Margaret T. (Nash) Deehan.
Prior to her retirement, Deanna had been a familiar face in the Whitman community having worked for both the Department of Public Works and the Collector’s Office for the town.
Deanne was a devoted wife, sister and aunt and her greatest joy was the time spent with her family. She will be lovingly remembered for her love and devotion to her many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Douglas Bermingham, Deanna is survived by her stepson Robert Bermingham and her sisters Frances T. Mahoney and Kathleen Willett and her husband Robert. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, who all adored their “Aunt DeDe”. She was predeceased by her siblings, Marie Phinney, Ann A. McGunnigle, Margaret C. Shields and William C. Deehan.
