Elaine Flynn-Hennessy, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She was 65 years of age.
Elaine was born in Boston on July 19, 1957, a daughter of the late Paul Flynn and Mary (Nolan) Flynn. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School System. Elaine worked for over 30 years as a waitress for several hotels in the area.
Elaine is the devoted mother of Joseph Hennessy, Shannon Hennessy, Erin Hennessy, Ryan Hennessy, and Quinn Hennessy and his wife Michelle. She is the loving Granny to Colleen, Christopher, Quinn Jr., and Logan. She is the dear 27 year companion of Gerry Mahoney. She is the beloved sister of Maureen Flynn, Kathy Flynn, Joseph Flynn and his wife Debbie, Annemarie Flynn, Billy Flynn and his wife Melissa, Tommy Flynn and Suzanne, Chrissy Flynn and Karen Athania, and the late Paul Flynn, Marty Flynn, and Barbara Flynn.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Elaine's visiting hours on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 3:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. with her Funeral Service at 6 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Her burial will be private.
