CHICOPEE – Paula M. Winters, 51, of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Home on Friday, September 16, 2022. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island on September 10, 1971, the beloved daughter of Paul H. Winters of Chicopee and Joann (Galambos) Winters of Riverside, RI. She was raised in Providence as a child and moved to Chicopee with her family in 1981 where she lived the remainder of her life. She was employed as a Certified Nurse Assistant at the former Wingate at South Hadley Nursing Home. During her leisure time, she enjoyed visiting the ocean, Yankee Candle in South Deerfield and the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and many friends. In addition to her parents, she leaves her three loving children, Ashley M. Esteves and her husband, Joao, of Ludlow and Kenneth C. “KC” Cudworth and Paris L. Beaudette and her partner, Magdiel “Mag” Marrero, all of Chicopee; her two cherished grandchildren, Avalina and Elijah Esteves; her beloved grandmother, Marion E. Winters of Chicopee; her dear uncle, Rolf Winters and his wife, Sue, of South Thomaston, ME; and her many dear extended family members and friends. She will also be deeply missed by her beloved canine companion, her dog Lulu. Her family will receive friends on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:30 a.m. at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. The parking lot and main entrance of the funeral home are located in the rear at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her Burial will follow the Service at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
