Dolores Donna Davis, 88, of Tifton passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Harborview Nursing Center in Tifton. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2022, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Ms. Davis will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Donnie Childers, Clay Childers, Greg Davis, Brian Davis and Wayne Davis will serve as pallbearers.
Born July 21, 1934, in Cleveland, Ohio, Ms. Davis was the daughter of the late Henry Clay Davis, Sr. and Ora Wilson Davis. She was also preceded in death by one brother, H. C. Davis; two sisters, Geraldine Davis Lee and Evelyn D. Thomas; and her grandparents, Thomas Jefferson Davis, Minnie George Davis, Joseph Wilson and Haley Jones Wilson. Before retiring, she was the Executive Secretary of Bowen Farming Enterprises in Tifton and she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Tifton. She loved the Lord and taught the Bible for many years.
Ms. Davis is survived by a sister-in-law, Lola Davis of Tifton and several nieces and nephews.
