Angel L. “Louie” Santiago, age 72, passed away on Sept. 14, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born on Aug. 5, 1950 in Comerio, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Ines Santana Baez and Epifania (Santiago) Aldoy. Louie served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He later worked for a lumber yard for many years before he retired with his later years spent being the best pop pop he could be. He is predeceased by his wife Roxanna (Landry) Santiago who passed away in 2008 and also by his daughters Penelope and Paula and his sister Nerieda “La” Bergeron. He is survived by 3 sons, Anthony Santiago and his wife Ashley, Louie Santiago and Leo Santiago; 2 daughters, Jessica Rankin and Breanna Santiago and wife Nina and partner Shane; 1 sister Isabel Dejesus . He also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Services will be private at a later date.
