Tammy L. (Belue) Feighery, 48, of Fall River passed away September 4, 2022.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of Rickey and Joyce (Silvia) Belue also of Fall River. She resided in the city for her entire life, though she did spend time in Alabama with family members as a young adult.
Tammy attended B.M.C. Durfee High School and was a member of the Class of 1992. She spent several years working in retail, employed at Bradlees, Target, and Toys R Us, and also was a long-time employee at First Impressions Tanning Salon in Fall River. Tammy was a gastroparesis warrior, and also was struggling with Addison’s disease and fibromyalgia at the time of her passing.
Tammy loved her coffee – extra cream extra sugar, enjoyed watching reality shows, was a big sports fan of several teams - Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, and whoever Peyton Manning was playing for, adored going to concerts (her favorites were New Kids on the Block/NKOTB, Dave Matthews Band and Natalie Merchant), and was energized by talking to other people. She had an infectious, outgoing personality that made a lasting impression on everyone that she met, and her loud voice will probably be heard for many years to come. She also enamored her pets, especially the family’s Boston Terrier Junior who has passed away, her cats Jinx and Yoda who have also crossed the rainbow bridge, and the family’s current little guy Duncan – who was named after the coffee that she drank every day.
Along with her parents, she is survived by her son Timothy Feighery of Fall River, her brother Adam Belue of Fall River, her ex-husband Gregory Feighery of Somerset, several aunts, uncles, and cousins, her three long-time best friends Gina Sowden, Tracy Malloy and Eileen Barlow, and lots of other friends and acquaintances that she’s touched.
Services will be private at the request of the family, with a celebration of her life to be held at a later date.
