Mrs. Barbara F. McIndoe, age 85, passed away at her home in Plymouth, MA. Born in Scituate, MA, she was the daughter of the late George and Esther Burrows. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Raymond W. McIndoe. One son, Dana B. McIndoe and his wife Eileen of Monroe, CT, one daughter, Laurie Birchall and her husband Mark of Miami, FL, a brother, George Burrows of Pembroke, MA and her sister-in-law Mrs. Marion McIntyre of Hershey, PA, three granddaughters, Abra and Esther Birchall of Miami, FL, Kelly McIndoe Ketcham and her husband Frank Ketcham III of Clarksville, TN, one grandson, Jason McIndoe and Carey also of Clarksville, TN and six great grandchildren, Samantha Sheff, Mark, Michael and Alexa Eileen McIndoe and Frank IV and Payton Elizabeth Ketham and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one month by her brother Elmar Burrows, age 84 passed away in Indianapolis, IN. Born in Scituate, MA. He leaves his son Gabriel and his daughter Jullienne both of Germany. Formerly a resident of Norwalk, CT, Mr. Burrows was a world renowned concert pianist. He attended Boston University School of Music and was most recently a music professor at the University of Indiana. During his career he played with the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra.
A joint memorial service will be held on May 27, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Second Congregational Church, 518 State Road, Manomet, (Plymouth) MA. Burial will immediately follow in the Burrows’ family plot in Scituate. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in their memories to be made to the Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
