DOUGLAS – Carol F. (Correia) Veronesi, 78, died Sunday, September 11, 2022 in the Life Care Center of Auburn after a period of declining health.
She leaves her husband of 59 years, Gilbert E. Veronesi; 4 children, Jeffrey S. Veronesi and his fiancée Wendy M. Redick of Douglas, Jennifer Lee Veronesi and her partner Tricia A. Keating, also of Douglas and Francis G. Veronesi and his wife Alessandra of Fitchburg; 6 grandchildren, Audrianna Veronesi, Nathaniel Brown, Victoria Bugan, Dustin Nikolas Veronesi, and Joshua and Sean Veronesi; 4 great-grandchildren, Isabella, Brooklyn, Mason and Lacey. She was predeceased by her sister Dolores Chouinard, by her granddaughter Dajia Brown and by her grandson Nathan Scott Veronesi.
She was born on March 11, 1944 in Brockton and raised in Bridgewater, a daughter Francis A. and Lena (Bois) Correia. She lived in New Orleans, LA and then in 28 other countries including South Korea, India, Indonesia and Malaysia. She enjoyed dancing.
Besides being a homemaker she was also the manager of Active Women in Milford and a clerk of documents at the Nine Mile Station Nuclear Power Plant in Oswego, NY.
