CLINTON__Jeanne L. (Phillips) Bunch, 75, of Clinton, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 in the Jewish Healthcare Center, Worcester. Her husband, Lt. Colonel Steven E. Bunch, USAF, Retired died in 2006.
Jeanne leaves her daughter, Louisa R. McPherson and her husband, Gary of Georgia; a brother, Christopher R. Phillips and his wife, Joyce of Moosup, Ct., and several nieces and nephews. Jeanne was predeceased by her son, Edward E. “Ned” Bunch and by a brother, Matthew R. Phillips. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Robert C. B. and Jeanne E. (Forget) Phillips and has lived in Clinton 41 years. Jeanne was a graduate of Anna Maria College.
Mrs. Bunch was a bank teller several years for Leominster Credit Union and retired several years ago. Before then she worked as a travel agent and for the Disney Stores. Jeanne was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving as a 2nd Lieutenant with the 862nd Combat Support Group during the Vietnam War.
Jeanne was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time in Walt Disney World.
A graveside service with military honors will be held privately in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Park Foundation, 1500 K St., NW, Suite 700 Washington, D.C. 20005 or to the USO P.O. Box 96860 Washington, D.C. 20077-7677.
