BELCHERTOWN – Dalton Allen Russell McCullough, 16, of Belchertown, was Called Home on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. He passed into Eternal Life at home surrounded by all the memories that he loved and cherished. He was born in Holyoke on July 10, 2006, a beloved son of Rebel R. Hughes. He was a student at Belchertown High School. As a youth, he played football with the Belchertown/Granby Eagles Football Team. He was a member of LifePoint Church in Chicopee where he also was a Youth Group and AWANA Member. During his leisure time, he enjoyed anime, manga, Magic the Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons and studying Japanese culture. He also enjoyed paddle boarding and loved his adventures at the Camp Manitou Experience in Oakland, Maine. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and his many friends. In addition to his mother, he leaves his loving brothers and sisters, Dakotah Barrows, Daytona Barrows and his fiancée, Taiya Patnode, and Dayton, Sheyenne, Dawson and Denton McCullough; his loving “bonus” brother, Dallas McCullough; his beloved grandparents, Ray and Donna (Woods) Hughes of Easthampton; and his many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his loving brother, Dodge McCullough who was Called Home on December 16, 2010. His family will receive friends on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4 p.m. at LifePoint Church, 603 New Ludlow Road, Chicopee, MA 01020. His burial will be private. His funeral services are entrusted to the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
