Pasquale “Pat” Abbatangelo of Dedham formerly of Readville died May 18, 2006 at the Caritas Norwood Hospital. He was 94. Mr. Abbatangelo was born in Italy and was the son of the late Francesco and Angelina (DeFuria) Abbatangelo. He was a longtime resident of both Dedham and Readville and was a member of the Sons of Italy in Hyde Park.
He was the beloved husband of Jennie (Ferzoco) Abbatangelo. He was the devoted father of Joan Cannistraro and her husband Vincent of Dedham and the late Frank Abbatangelo and his wife Janice of Norwood. He also leaves 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was the brother of John Abbatangelo of Readville, Margaret Laurenti of Milton and the late Domenic, Leonard, Americo and Nicholas Abbatangelo and Eleanor Giasullo and Palomina Moscaritolo.
His funeral will be held from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Monday at 8:00 AM. Funeral mass will follow in St. Susanna’s Church, Dedham, at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Sunday from 4-8 PM. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park.
