Mrs. Alice (Azoian) Romano, a longtime resident of Andover and beloved wife of the late Michael Romano, passed away at the Lawrence General Hospital on Monday, September 5, 2022. She was 89 years old.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, on September 22, 1932, she was the beloved daughter of the late Manoog and Mary Azoian.
Mrs. Romano was employed as a Sales Representative for a Sporting Goods Store, for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed visiting the beach and the ocean as well as traveling. Alice was also a longtime member of the New England Bible Church of Andover. She will be dearly missed.
Alice is survived by her loving children; Cynthia Romano of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Linda Romano of Andover, Michael Romano of Rye, New Hampshire and Joyce Colyer of Cordova, Tennessee, grandchildren; Mark, Nazareno and Richelle, great-granddaughter; Delaney Alice, several nieces and nephews and her grand-dog; Carter.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Monday, September 12, 2022, at 7 PM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service, from 4 to 7 PM. Interment will be privately held.
