Rodney Allen Taylor, III, eight months old, passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2022. He was born on December 21, 2021 in Anderson, the son of Michelle Johnson and Rodney Taylor, II.
“Lil Rod” could light up the room with his big personality. He was his mama’s “kinky butt baby boy"; little best friend and everyone's nuggy.
Along with his parents, he is survived by siblings; Ariana, Adisen and Jordan Hepfer, Jaxon Montague, and Trinity Taylor; papa, Rodney Taylor, I, (Tammy Diefenbach), momoo and pappy, Carol and Larry Roberts; aunts, Crystal Johnson (Tony Collins), Misty Johnson; uncle, Jamiey Hammer; special cousins, Angelia Dysart (Fredrick Ward), Arzie Collins, Buddy Collins, Xavier Collins, Artivon Johnson; Godparents, Kassidi Downing, Christina and PJ Montague; his McDonald’s family and other extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Michael Bowling, Helen Johnson and Cheryl Marie Morefield.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral service. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral Monday, beginning at 12 Noon.
Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
