A. Theresa (Comperchio) Reppucci, 91, longtime resident of Boston’s North End, passed away on Saturday, September 3rd. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Vito and Josephine (Campo) Comperchio. Theresa worked for many years as a secretary at Massachusetts General Hospital. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and deeply treasured for the many years she spent with her family, to whom she was so devoted and who, in turn, were so devoted to her.
Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Michael Reppucci, and the devoted mother of Camille Donato of Wakefield, Michael Reppucci, Jr. of Andover, Joanne Tufo and her husband Freddy of Malden, Stephen Reppucci of Wakefield, and Robert Reppucci and his wife Susan of Saugus. She was the loving grandmother of eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Theresa was the dear sister of Barbara Kalkanajian and her husband John of Peabody, Janice Chumsae and her husband Mark of Wells, ME, and the late Joseph Comperchio and Rosemarie Colella. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 8th from 4 through 8 PM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 9th at 10 AM in St. Leonard Church, Hanover St., Boston. Those wishing to join the procession to church should gather at the funeral home at 8:45 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
