Scott B. Ramm, 68, of Worcester passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 1 st after a long illness. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (McLean); daughter, Erica Martin and son-in-law, Nathan of Hopedale; daughter Tiffany Racicot and son-in-law, Michael of Oxford; son Derek Ramm and daughter-in-law, Juli (Austin) of Charlton. Scott also leaves his sister Cheryl Johnson and her husband, Artie of Worcester; sister Kim Ramm of Dudley; brother Kurt Ramm and his wife, Jo-Ann of Westborough; and many nephews and nieces, cousins, and extended family. Scott’s three grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he leaves his Champ, Sunshine, and Bella. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Ramm and Angelina (Giaquinto) of Worcester; and his sister Kendra Cloutier of Worcester.
In addition to his family, Scott’s passion in life was music. He played the drums and sang for over 40 years in various bands, and often communicated through song, creating playlists for those he loved. He also enjoyed traveling; he and Barbara enjoyed many special vacations, including their home away from home for many years, Key West, FL.
Those that knew Scott know that he was an easy-going, fun, genuine, caring man that loved his family and friends fiercely and would sacrifice anything for their happiness. He will be missed by so many, but his legacy will live on in music, in family, and in faith.
Scott’s family would like to extend the most heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Vibra Hospital for the care they provided him for the months he was there. Their compassion, love, and respect for Scott is something that will never be forgotten.
There will be no public services held; instead, his family asks you to honor Scott by listening to great music, raising a glass to The Legend, and sharing the tremendous love that he showed to all. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with arrangements.
