Mark W. Riley, 60, of Little Compton passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, September 3, 2022. He was the husband of Bethany (Woodruff) Riley, they shared 35 years of marriage.
Born in Fall River, MA, a son of William Riley of Swansea, MA and the late Patricia (Nestor) Riley Delaney of Venice, FL, Mark was raised in Fall River and was a graduate of Bishop Connolly High School and New England Tech. He was a Logistician for Seacorp in Middletown, RI and prior to that had worked at Lockheed Martin in Marion, MA for 24 years.
Mark enjoyed curating his extensive music collection, following all the New England sports teams, watching sci-fi, and keeping tabs on all the latest in Apple technology, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family in Little Compton, where he had resided for 24 years.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Benjamin Riley and his wife Rosie of Wilmington, NC; two brothers Michael Riley and his wife Kathleen of Boca Rotan, FL and Christopher Riley and his wife Shelley of Westport, MA; a sister Kathleen (Riley) Berube and her husband Michael of Honey Brook, PA; a step-mother Claudia Riley; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Aster.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Mark’s life on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at 63 Little Harbor Road, Tiverton, RI.
