Theodore W. “Ted” Robinson, Jr., age 79, of Falmouth, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich. He was the beloved high school sweetheart and husband of Carol M. (Robison) Robinson, to whom he was wed for fifty-six years.
Born in Boston, MA on February 23, 1943, he was a loving son of the late Theodore W. Robinson, Sr. and Evelyn M. (Unger) Robinson-Concannon.
Ted grew up in Mansfield and was a 1961 graduate of Mansfield High School. He furthered his studies, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Northeastern University. During the time of the Vietnam War, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army Reserve.
A resident of Falmouth for over twenty-five years, he previously resided in Walpole and Mansfield. His favorite job in life was being a Certified Ski Instructor at Blue Hills Ski Area in Canton. He also had successful careers in technology, sales and real estate.
Ted was a proud husband, father and grandfather whose family was the focal point of his life. He was an avid New England Patriots fan, enjoyed spending time on his boat “The American Way” but the highlight of his year was watching and cheering on runners at the Annual Falmouth Road Race.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted children: Theodore W. “Todd” Robinson, III and his wife Catherine of Milford, Keith A. Robinson and his wife Liz of York, Maine and Karen E. Coyle and her husband John of Norwell. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Abigail, Brendan, Anna, Penny, Ben, Cat, Jack, Aedan and Libby.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Friday, September 16th from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
A service in celebration of his life will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.
