Betty Ann (Rogers) Stallings, 85, of New Bedford passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 25, 2022. She was the wife of the late John F. Stallings.
Born and raised in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late John "Boy" Rogers and Ann (Fermino) Rogers.
Betty was an avid reader and loved playing her piano and organ. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1969 and was a member of the Fairhaven Congregation.
Survivors include her children, Jeffrey Rogers of New Bedford, Sheree Burns and her husband Benjamin of New Bedford, David Ramos of Westport, Tracy Elder and her husband Randall of Cincinnati, Rachel White and her husband Paul of Portsmouth, Ri, and Aaron Stallings and his partner Darin Bond of Boston; her brothers, Gerald "Gerry" Rogers, James Rogers and Thomas Rogers; her grandchildren, Mark Ramos, Brandy Burns, Lance Elder, Tyson Valera, Christopher White, Elizabeth Ramos, Anthony Segami-Stallings, Elliana Elder, and Justin Ramos; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her daughter, Ann "Shelly" Ramos
Betty's service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 742 County St., New Bedford on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 2 PM. If unable to attend it will be available on zoom. To view it on zoom please email [email protected] to get the ID # and password, or text her at 508-287-1156.
