"With great sorrow our daughter Rose Mae Denley of Port Hueneme, CA passed away August 14, 2022. Rose always kept a loving smile with a kind word for all she encountered. Rose was a talented artist who loved to draw and paint. Her talents were recognized and accepted by Hanna-Barbera studio where she was offered a job in the 1990’s. Rose loved to laugh, joke, and spend time with her close family and friends. Rose cherished spending her time taking care of her brother William and her four adorable puppies that she considered her babies.
Rose will be in our memories as someone who had a beautiful soul, a love for life and a kind heart. She will truly be missed.
Rose is survived by her father Bill Denley and mother Mary Hayes Denley; two siblings: William Denley and Mary Denley-McElliott (Derrick McElliott); longtime life partner Lydia Rosales; three nieces: Renee Denley, Maria Duckett, and Dezirae Denley; one nephew Corey McElliott; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Our family will celebrate the life of Rose on Monday, September 12, 2022, from 12 pm – 2 pm at New Life Church, 1251 N Rice Ave, Oxnard, CA 93030; enter on Maulhardt Ave to park. All family and friends are welcome."
