In Taunton, Carole Ann Hill, age 87, passed away peacefully in Morton Hospital while surrounded by her loving family following a brief period of declining health on August 31, 2022. Carole was the wife of the late Robert L. Hill. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Henry & Mary (Morrissey) Plante.
Carole had resided with her daughter in Somerset the past few years and was formerly of Raynham. She attended St. Mary’s Elementary School and was a graduate of Taunton High School. Carole enjoyed sewing, making lampshades, cooking, baking pies, camping, playing cards, and above all cherished her time with family and friends.
Carole leaves her beloved children; Donna Lorimer of Taunton, Cynthia Thompson of Somerset, Jeanie Stark and her husband Carl of Easton, Maryland, Alison Hill of Charlottesville, VA, Linda Meagher and husband Joseph of Raynham and Robert Hill Jr. of Ocoee, FL. She also leaves her nine loving grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, as well as many cousins, and a brother and sister in laws.
Funeral services will be private at the request of the family and burial will be at the Bourne National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
