Patricia “Pat” O’Brien of Randolph passed away on August 29, 2022, at the age of 90. Pat was born raised and educated all in Boston before the family moved to Randolph where she would spend the rest of her days. Pat had an exciting career with the Bell Telephone Co., rising through the ranks to become a forecaster. She was one of the few women in management in her industry at the time.
Pat was a woman of many talents and hobbies. She absolutely loved traveling to anywhere. She would take cruises, trips to Europe, Hawaii, and several trips to Disney World with her many nieces and nephews. When she wasn’t traveling, she enjoyed weekly trips to Foxwoods Casino and actively participated in a bowling league at Timber Lanes. Pat was an avid dog/animal lover and adopted boxers to make sure they had a good home. Pat also had an enormous heart always giving to numerous charities whenever she could. She was truly a special woman and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Pat was the last of her generation of O’Briens. She was predeceased by all her siblings James O’Brien, Robert O’Brien, Mary O’Brien, Ellen Rosati, Bill O’Brien, and John O’Brien. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service for Pat on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 11AM in the Holy Family Cemetery (92 Centre Ave, Rockland MA). In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Pat’s memory to the ASPCA at https://www.aspca.org/.
