Richard J. Clarke, 78, of Derry, NH, passed away Friday August 26, 2022, in the VA Boston Healthcare System, West Roxbury, MA. He was born on January 4, 1944, in Nashua, NH, a son of the late James and Alice (Campeau) Clarke. Richard proudly served his country with the US Air Force during Vietnam. He later operated his own trucking company, assisting with transportation for many companies big and small. Richard was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by his four children, JoAnn Robbins, Richard Wilbur, Melissa Clarke and Dawn Clarke, a stepdaughter Angenette Holmes, many grandchildren including Jessica Coronado, Jamie Wilbur, Max Wilbur, Jean Holmes, and Matthias Holmes, and great grandchildren Izabella Coronado, Summer Coronado, and Gilbert Coronado Jr. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Jean (Floyd) Rogers-Clarke.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a Celebration of life will be held by family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, VARO-Norris Cotton Federal Building, 275 Chestnut Street, Rm 515, Manchester, NH 03101.
