Joanne M. DiFranza, of Winchester, passed away on Monday, August 29th. She was 70. Born in Chelsea, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Miraglia) DiFranza. Joanne loved shopping; she was always looking for the next best bargain. She enjoyed reading books and the daily newspaper. Joanne always looked forward to Sunday breakfasts at Bickford’s with her sister Maria.
Joanne was the dear sister of Maria Gore and her husband Richard of Wilmington, and the late Gabriel G. “Gary” DiFranza. She was the loving aunt of Michael Gore and his wife Melissa of Chelmsford, and Joe Gore and his wife Renee of Billerica.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, September 6th from 10 to 11 AM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a funeral service at 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
