Joan B. (Doucette) Will, 89, of Bellingham formerly of Medway died August 27 in the Mount St. Rita Healthcare Center in Cumberland, Rhode Island. She was the wife of the late Raymond F. Will who died in 1996.
Born in Millinocket, Maine, March 22, 1933, the daughter of the late George and Martha (Dufour) Doucette, Joan was raised in Millinocket and moved to Medway in 1967 where she lived until moving to Bellingham in 2007.
She was a graduate of Millinocket High School.
Joan had been the receptionist at the Evergreen Center in Milford for 13 years before retiring. She had previously been the bookkeeper at Clarkâs Pharmacy.
Joan had been a member of the Medway Bells and enjoyed bowling and traveling.
She is survived by her children Raymond Will and his partner Susan Cheever of Milford, Denise Maillet and her husband Ronald of Bellingham, Thomas Will and his partner Cindy Pellecia of Buckingham, Florida, Lawrence Will of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Donald Will and his partner Diane Tome of Buckingham, Florida.
She was the sister of the late Gertrude Birt and Cecilia Pitman.
Joan is also survived by her nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 2 in St. Joseph Church, Medway at 10:30a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway.
