John "Sonny" Andrews, 77, of Hillmar, CA died April 20, 2006 at home after a long illness.
He was the husband of the late Jenny (Nunes) Andrews.
Born in Marion, the son of the late Frank and Marion (Peters) Andrews, he lived in Marion most of his life before moving to Hillmar, CA 36 years ago.
Mr. Andrews served in the U.S. Air Force as a paratrooper during World War II. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars post# 5059 in California.
He enjoyed golf, watching the New England Patriots and spending time with his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mr. Andrews is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was the brother of the late Roy, Ray, Chris, Albert, Frank, Manuel, Arthur Andrews, Mary Barros and Dorothy Spinola.
His Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 26th at 7 PM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
