Betty “Wylene” Stone Webb, 87, of Tifton passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Harborview Nursing Home in Tifton. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2022, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Rickey Wells officiating. Mrs. Webb will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Webb’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Born November 1, 1934, in Tift County, Mrs. Webb was the daughter of the late James Authur Stone and Flonnie Childers Stone. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Edwin “Spider” Webb, who passed away November 27, 2016; three brothers, J. S. Stone, Arlen Stone and Cecil Stone; and two sisters, Annie Lou Stone and Dessie Carpenter. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Webb is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Ann Webb of Ty Ty and Julian "Matt" and Gail Webb of Alapaha; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Raiford and Mary Jo Stone and Randall and Brenda Stone, all of Tifton; three sisters, Inez Weldon of Tifton, Oleda Edge of Doerun and Faye Haynes of New Jersey; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Jimmie and Shanna Scarberry of Alabama, Joe and Jennifer Scarberry of Norman Park, Heaven and John Stone, Tim and Donna Harnage and Belinda and Frank Dominque, all of Tifton, Garron and Kimberly Webb of Ocilla, Andy and Melissa Webb of Alapaha and Chrissy and Joe Wolf of Nashville; and 20 great-grandchildren.
