TEWKSBURY - Ann T. (Ardizzone) Willis, age 82, a resident of Tewksbury for four decades,
died Wednesday morning, May 17, at the Stoughton, Mass., home of her daughter and son-in-
law, surrounded by her family, after a long period of declining health. She was the wife of the late
Robert H. Willis, who died on February 9, 2000.
She was born in Chelsea, on April 24, 1924, a daughter of the late Sam and Mary (Magno)
Ardizzone.. She lived in Dorchester, before coming to Tewksbury in 1965.
For more than 25 years, she worked in production at Sweetheart Plastics in Wilmington, where
she held the position of Supervisor when she retired.
In her later years, she was a member of the Red Hat Society in Tewksbury, and a frequent visitor
to the Tewksbury Senior Drop-In Center.
She, along with her late husband, were world travelers, and were proud to have circumnavigated
the globe twice.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and James Paquette of Stoughton; a
granddaughter, Susan Paquette of Stoughton, a grandson, Keith Paquette of Bridgewater; a sister,
Lucy Checcio of FL; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Jeanne Piccirello, and Guy Ardizzone.
Her Funeral Service was held Friday, May 19, in the
Funeral Home. Burial was in the Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to the Old Colony
Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368, will be appreciated.
