In Fall River, Frederick McManus, age 79, passed away peacefully in the Kimbell Nursing Home in Fall River on August 24, 2022. Frederick was the husband of the late Sandra (Lewis) McManus. He was born in Somerville, MA, the son of the late Albert & Roberta (Walker) McManus.
Frederick was a longtime resident of Taunton and formerly of Somerville, MA. He was educated in Somerville schools. Frederick was a member of Union #35 Painters where he worked until his retirement. He enjoyed being the family taxi and bringing his grandchildren to their activities, and most of all being there at all of them. Frederick had other hobbies but the most joy came from being around his family.
Frederick leaves his children; Lori Pike of New Bedford, Rhonda Anderson of Taunton, Bill McManus and his wife Kim of New Bedford, his grandchildren; Amanda, Kelsey, Zachary, Dylan, Jillian, Cole, A.J., Ashley and his 16 great grandchildren, his sister; Betty LaFrance Bickford of NH and his late siblings; Marie Meack and Albert McManus.
Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Tuesday, August 30th from 5-7pm.
