Lucia M. (Bolduc) Dufour, age 94, of Boca Raton, Florida, died on August 14, 2022 at Brookdale Assisted Living after a period of failing health. She was the devoted wife of the late Omer J. Dufour for 65 years.
Lucia was born and raised in Canada, a daughter of the late Joseph and Clementine (Poulin) Bolduc and came to the United States in the 1940s. She was a resident of Matfield Woods in W. Bridgewater for over 30 years before moving to Florida.
For many years, Lucia worked at the family owned company LD Plastics in Brockton and retired at the age of 91.
Lucia’s life revolved around her family and attending all family occasions. She loved gardening, playing games, bingo and sharing good times with family and friends. She was devout in her faith and was a longtime communicant of St. Ann’s Church in West Bridgewater. She was also an avid outdoors person and she and her husband spent many years fishing and hunting from their converted school bus camper.
Lucia was the mother of Marguerite Darling of Northport, FL; Caroline Michel of Phoenix, AZ; Lina Dufour of Boca Raton, FL; Regis Dufour of W. Roxbury, MA; Anita Harlfinger of Engelwood, FL; Bernadette Braden of Hampton, VA; Raymond Dufour of Chesterfield, VA and the late Mariette Thomas, Yvan Dufour and Normand Dufour. She leaves many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was the sister of the late Alice Poulin and Irene Clifford.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 10:00 am, in St. Ann Church, 95 N. Main St. West Bridgewater, MA. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
