Thomas Lennon, 78, residing in Sharon, Massachusetts, passed away on August 23, 2022, from complications due to Parkinson’s Disease.
Thomas was born on February 26, 1944 in Flushing, New York to His parents, Mary and Scotty Lennon.
Thomas was an altruistic man who lived a full life surrounded by people he loved. He was best known for singing and playing his guitar, spending time with his family and friends, tinkering on projects in his basement, checking and changing his kids’ oil, playing with his grandchildren, singing in his church choir, and indulging his eternal sweet tooth.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Mary, his four adult children and their spouses, Thomas and his wife, Sarah, Lori, Becky and her husband Edward, and Sara, five grandchildren, Keira, Owen, Bennett, Max, and Sydney, and his brothers and sisters, Andy, Owen, Frankie, Randy, Rosie, and Betty and their spouses, Susan, Noelle, Anne, and Johnny.
Thomas was a loving and kind soul. No matter how long Thomas walked this Earth, it would never have been enough time. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A wake for Thomas will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at Dockray & Thomas Funeral home in Canton (455 Washington Street, Canton, MA). Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows (59 Cottage Street, Sharon, MA), followed by a funeral procession to Knollwood Cemetery.
