Our beautiful and beloved Lorraine Michelle (Forgue) Grimley suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on August 21st at the young age of 62 years.
Lorraine was born in Sarasota, Florida to Phyllis (Tufano) and Julian P. Forgue. Although she lived the majority of her life in Rhode Island, Lorraine always retained a special fondness for her birthplace.
At the age of 14 years, Lorraine met Buddy; her soulmate, best friend and love of her life. They remained inseparable for 48 years. Together Lorraine and Bud built a wonderful and fulfilled life. Over the years, they raised and loved their dogs as part of their family. Lorraine was an excellent cook and the ultimate hostess who graciously welcomed many friends, family and neighbors into her warm and perfectly kept home in Glocester. She took immense pride in her home, yard and gardens which always looked like they belonged on a page in the magazine, "Better Homes and Gardens". At all times, and with all things, Lorraine was the ultimate perfectionist.
Besides her beloved husband Bud, Lorraine leaves her brother Randy Forgue (Janice) of North Scituate, who along with Bud were both by her side when she was called to heaven to reunite with her parents as well as her late brothers, Julian "Jay" Forgue and Ricky Forgue. Family was everything to Lorraine. She will also be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews as well as her best and constant companion Hallie.
Visitation to be held Monday August 29th from 4-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday at 7:30pm at Lorraine's home at 11 Cody Drive in Glocester.
