Stephen G. Shaw, age 59, a lifelong resident of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
Born in Norwood, MA on December 22, 1962, he was a loving son of Robert P. Shaw of Mansfield and the late Virginia M. (Doherty) Shaw.
Steve grew up in town and was a 1980 graduate of Mansfield. He futured his education, attending Massasoit Community College and Arizona State University. Prior to retiring, he had worked as a salesman for Quality Coach in Norton and previously at Shaw Auto Leasing, a company owned and operated by his family.
Steve loved spending time and creating lifelong memories with family and friends. He was truly a free-spirited man who marched to the beat of his own jam band. He possessed a lifelong love and appreciation for music and was also a member of the Free Masons in Braintree. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him and whose lives he touched.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his devoted children: Cassandra Janusz of Norwood, Keri Callinan of Mansfield and Zachary Shaw and his fiancé Kristina Campbell of Norton. He was the cherished grandfather of Jacob, Lailah, Violet, Liliana, Kennedi and Maddison. He was the former husband and best friend of Sarah Curelop and Maryann Callinan. He was the dear brother of Virginia Sawyer, Paulette Querner, Robert Shaw, Gregory Shaw, David Shaw and is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a musical celebration of his life on Sunday, September 18th at 3:00 P.M. at the Soundcheck, 150 Corporate Park Drive, Pembroke, MA
Visiting hours are omitted and those wishing may remember Stephen with a donation in his memory made to his family on the day of services.
In true Stephen fashion, those attending his future services are asked to please dress in Tie-Dye attire.
