William Frederick McAllister

William F. McAllister, age 74, a resident of Salisbury for the past 8 years, passed away at the Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport on Friday, August 19, 2022.

He was the beloved father of William J. McAllister and his wife Caroline and Tammy M. Jollimore and her husband Brian, all of Tewksbury.

Born in Boston on November 12, 1947, he was the son of the late John J. and Helen (McAllister).

William was raised in Cambridge and attended Cambridge schools.

In 1964, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War era. He was awarded the Sharpshooter Badge for his proficiency with the M-14 Rifle and the Carbine Rifle.

Prior to his retirement, he worked for 30 years as a sales associate by Patkin Cadillac and Seacoast Cadillac.
William enjoyed time with his friends playing Keno and following horse racing.

His most treasured moments were spent with his family.

In addition to his children, he is survived by his grandchildren, William and Brett McAllister, and Patrick and Erin Jollimore, all of Tewksbury: his former wife, Lillian A. DiGiorgio, of Tewksbury: numerous extended family members and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 29th, from 4-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury, immediately followed by a prayer service to be held at the funeral home. Interment of his ashes will be held at a later date at the Tewksbury Cemetery. Kindly Omit Flowers.
