George K. Sullivan 81, of Whitman, formerly of Abington and Randolph passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday August 12.
George is survived by his loving wife Paula (Hickey) Sullivan, his sons Kristopher and his wife Andrea and Scott and his wife Jennifer. He was “Grampy” to Riley, Thomas, Sophie, Wilson and Trey.
He was brother to Kathleen Sinkiewizc and Robert Sullivan and his wife Carolyn. He was a loving uncle to Dan, Brian, Patrick and Lindsey. He was a great uncle to Mia, Sean, Ryan and Grace.
He was predeceased by his first wife Karen (Smith) Sullivan
George was a teacher in Holbrook for over 40 years. He influenced the live of 1000’s of students.
He was active in the Joy in Christ church for many years. George love traveling the world both with his students and family.
He was also on the board of the North River Theater in Norwell, and had enjoyed acting in several of their plays.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours on Saturday August 27 from 10 AM- 12 PM followed by a service at 12 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman.
