Amada Escobar Sanchez, 61, of Tifton, Georgia, died Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Pruitt Health in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
A Funeral Mass will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Our Divine Saviour Catholic Church in Tifton, Georgia, with Father Peter Oyenugba officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Escobar Sanchez was born December 1, 1960, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to Maria Vasquez of Montebello, SLP, Mexico and the late Genaro Sanchez.
She is survived by her husband, Laurentino Escobar of Tifton; children: Adrian Escobar of Fitzgerald, Naz Escobar of Albany, and Marcel Escobar of Mexico; grandchildren: Adrian Escobar, Jr., Darcy Maria Escobar, Johnny Escobar, Guadalupe Escobar, Marisa Boatwright, Christian Banda, Rhiana Escobar, Nazaret Escobar, Greyson Escobar, Annabelle Escobar, Jonathan Escobar, Jr., Bellen Escobar, Lluvia Escobar, and Luna Escobar; siblings: Mario Sanchez, Emelio Sanchez, Ludivina Sanchez, Genaro Sanchez, Alfredo Sanchez, Sandro Sanchez, and Rogelio Sanchez. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Escobar and a daughter, Claudia Escobar.
