Cindy June Gray Miley, 68, of Tifton passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Miley at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2022, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service. Mrs. Miley will be laid to rest at a later date.
Born July 4, 1954, in Tifton, Mrs. Miley was the daughter of the late Charlie Gray and Vivian June Shaw Gray. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Miley. Cindy was raised by her grandparents, Tom and Pauline Shaw of Waterloo.
She was a retired homemaker. She loved her dog, Noah and enjoyed looking at nature, especially birdwatching. She loved going to Bluegrass festivals; camping; and she loved to cook. She had a strong belief in her faith, family and prayer.
Mrs. Miley is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Mike Fordham of Lenox; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Keith Gray of Omega and Carroll and Karron Gray of Enigma; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Judy Hockman and Terri and Ricky Hobbs, all of Enigma; two aunts, Helen Shaw and Mavis Suggs, both of Tifton; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
