Curtisse Felixa Parkerson Boyd, 65, of Enigma passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022, at her residence. A funeral service and burial will be held for Mrs. Boyd at a later date.
Born October 10, 1956, in Springfield, Illinois, Mrs. Boyd was the daughter of the late Curtis Parkerson, Sr. and Alma Stewart Parkerson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Thomas “W. T.” Boyd, Jr., who passed away on April 15, 2022; one daughter, Alma Boyd; one brother, Curtis Parkerson, Jr.; and one sister, Arline Gandy. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved her grandkids; she loved to cook; and she loved to read and do crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Boyd is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Melissa and Kenny Cannady of Enigma and Sally Boyd of Ray City; one sister, Teresa Henderson of Smith Station, Alabama; eight grandchildren, Morgan Stinton and his fiance' Codi Seymour, Matthew Stinton, Micheal Stinton, Russell Cannady and his wife Diana, Brandon Cannady and his wife Brandi, Amber Cannady, Brianna Cannady and Cameron Cannady; and four great-grandchildren, Noah Bennett, Brayden Seymour, Brodee Diaz and Bailey Diaz.
