Mable Irene Deese Robinson, 90, of Brandon, Florida passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Patty's House Assisted Living Facility in Dover, Florida. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2022, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Elder Dwight Marshall officiating. Mrs. Robinson will be laid to rest at Oakey Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrien County. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Born March 7, 1932, in Cottonwood, Alabama, Mrs. Robinson was the daughter of the late James Milton Deese and Marie Matthews Deese. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William H. Robinson; three brothers, James Deese, L. D. Deese and Cullen Deese; and one sister, Myrtle Adkins. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Enon Primitive Baptist Church in Plant City, Florida. She loved to garden and sew; she loved to cook; and she loved her church.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Rhonda Weldon of Brandon, Florida and Nancy and Dale Polk of Plant City, Florida; two brothers, Frank Deese of Dothan, Alabama and Lamar Deese of Cowarts, Alabama; one sister, Merlene Smith of Green Cove Springs, Florida; and four grandchildren, Brandon Polk and his wife Patty of Valrico, Florida and Lauren Weldon, Kyle Weldon and Conner Weldon, all of Salt Lake City, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Robinson Reunion Cemetery Fund.
