Adelino (Nuna) Anahory of Easton, Massachusetts died peacefully at his home on August 14, 2022.
Born in 1939, the second child of Mario and Benvinda Anahory.
Adelino spent thirty-five years working for the Eastern Steel Rack Company where he worked his way up from an entry level brake operator to the Plant Manager for the entire organization.
He enjoyed spending time with his many friends and family, playing Poker and Wisk and tending to his garden.
He leaves behind his wife Dolores of Easton, his three sons Kevin Anahory of Easton, Eric Anahory of Manchester, New Hampshire and Carlos Costa of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, his two daughters Lisa Anahory of Abington and Lori Anahory of Whitman, his daughter-in-law Amy Anahory of Easton, and his grandchildren Christian, Emma, Ethan, Noah, Eleanor Grace, John Patrick, Crystal, Jasmine, Alex and Joshua. He also leaves behind his brother Carlos Anahory of Stoughton, sisters Fatima Leitao of Quincy and Maria Nunes of Whitman.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours on Wednesday August 17 from 4-7 PM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman and his funeral services on Thursday August 18 at 9:45 AM from the Chapel, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at the Holy Ghost Church. Burial will follow in the Saint James Cemetery.
