Barbara Jean Culbertson, 95, of Ventura, passed away on Wednesday morning, August 10, 2022.
Mrs. Culbertson was born on November 28, 1926 in Ventura. She graduated from Ventura High School and Ventura College.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her garden and taking care of her flowers.
She and her late husband were residents of El Segundo from 1960 to 2010. Her husband was the manager of the Inglewood Edison Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Culbertson, and her daughter, Nancy Lynn Blount.
Barbara is survived by her long time companion and partner: Dr. Roy Haggard, of Ventura; her daughter: Susan Hardee and her husband, David, of San Diego; her son: Robert Steven Culbertson; her grandchildren: Becky, Heather, Renee, Alison, Shelly, and Robby; and her great grandchildren: Makenna, Alex, Will, Ryan, Tyler, and Ashley.
Friends and family are invited to visit from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 East Main Street, Ventura. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12Noon on Friday August 19, 2022 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 3175 Telegraph Road, Ventura. Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.
