Obituary

Zachary Thomas Cocco Romania, of Manchester, NH, formerly of Wayland, who recently turned 34 years old, was a kind brother, son, cousin, nephew, grandson and friend. He died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 4, 2022 in New Hampshire.
Zachary was the beloved son of Arthur Romania and Carolyn Cocco of Wayland and cherished brother of Alexander Romania of New York, NY and Samuel A. Romania of Roanoke, VA. He was the treasured grandson of Marguerite N. Cocco of Sudbury. Also leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
As a kid, underneath a shy exterior, Zach was adventurous and fearless - he could be seen flipping tricks that would scare most other kids. Zachary struggled through his teenage years into adulthood - he fought mental illness with his love to draw, write, play music, make videos, and watch movies. He sought to make it to the west coast and flourish with these creative passions. On his journey, despite losing many people, his favorite job was as a mental health mentor where he tried to lift others up who similarly struggled. His family loved him dearly and are comforted that Zachary may have finally found solace.
Visitations will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:15 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (off Rt. 30), Wayland. A Funeral service to follow at 4:30 pm at the funeral home.
