Erin Kathleen Kelleher

TEWKSBURY: Erin Kathleen (Shea) Kelleher, age 51, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away unexpectedly while vacationing with her family in Lebanon, Maine on Sunday, August 7, 2022.

She was the beloved wife of James Francis Kelleher, with whom she would have celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary on September 25, 2022.

Born in Melrose on February 5, 1971, she was the daughter of Mary Jane (Kelley) Shea, of Tewksbury and the late John W. Shea, Jr., who passed away on March 13, 2022.

Erin was raised in Tewksbury and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1989, where she formed many lifelong friendships.

She was employed by the IRS for many years.

Erin was an avid Red Sox fan and proud member of Red Sox Nation. She loved tending to her flower garden, vacationing with her family, and watching sitcoms, especially “Friends” and “The Office”. Most of all Erin cherished any moment that she could spend with her amazing husband, children, and her beloved dog “Blue.”

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her three children, her daughter, Breanna Shea Kelleher, of Tewksbury and her significant other, Steven R. Lee, her son, Alex James Kelleher, of Tewksbury and his significant other, Sara E. Krusper, and her son, Michael John Kelleher, of Tewksbury; two sisters, Jennifer Kelley and her husband Jay, and Cori Shea, all of Dracut: nephews and a niece, Jake and Max Kelley, both of Dracut; Derek and Jaelyn Kelleher, both of Concord N.H. Erin leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and dear friends.

Calling hours are Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main Street, Route 38, Tewksbury. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 90 River Road, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Dana Farber’s Jimmy Fund at www.jimmyfund.org.
